I wanted to share this great place we had lunch today.  I neglected to take a picture of the actual food, as when the food arrived, it looked to delicious, we both dug right in. The place is called the Smoke Ring   and if you are familiar with Atlanta, it is  right by the Georgia Dome and new Mercedes Benz Dome.

The menu offers a wide variety of foods, lots of good proteins, pulled chicken, pulled pork, ribs, they even have ahi tuna and lobster.  The also have some very unique sides, like blue cheese potato salad.  Our server also said the deserts were great, but we had NO room left for desert, and we were actually taking enough leftovers home for dinner later.

The atmosphere is nice, a bit on the noisy side for me, but that is just me.  It is very upbeat, energetic abut yet relaxing.

Our server, Ashley, was better then great.  Attentive, but did not overdo it, visited, we learned a lot about the restaurant, and some of the clientele. This is a definite do again restaurant.

I suggest if you live in Atlanta, or are visiting, stop by for a bite.  If Ashley is working, say Hi and sit back and relax!
