Another Beautiful Day in the City
It was such a gorgeous day in the city today. After G and I got our jog in, and I did my work out, I decided to do my stretching today from the sky deck. The view was so nice, it helped me to relax again.
But back to my morning jog. I had been getting very lazy about this. It has been a long time that I have barely gone a little more than two miles. But, maybe because I am resting a little better, I have started to go on longer jogs again. ( I would love to say run, but not really running). I am trying to go a minimum of 3.5 miles, or more. It just feels so good.
As for my workouts. Again, maybe I have a little more energy, because these have also increased “slightly”. I would really like to gain some muscle. I have been contemplating cross fit, but I have never done anything like this, and to be honest, I am afraid I may hurt something. (You know, I am such a fragile thing). I have an appointment with my rheumy tomorrow, so I am going to ask him about this. However, I have been going to him long enough, he’s going to say, so why aren’t you already doing cross fit, or so I think. Just in case, does anyone have ideas for a good Crossfit gym in the area that will work with REAL beginners? Let me know.
My food, was quite boring today, so no pics. I really wasn’t hungry today, but I do know it is better to eat before you are starving. I did eat a lot of vegetables, and protein, but that was about it, but that’s okay, right?
I had several work errands to do, and if I can walk them faster then drive, I will, which is what I did today. It was all worth while with the very nice view along the way. We have some beautiful areas in the city and all , very close.
It was another day that I could not get enough to drink. I am sure it is because I have been sweating like a 🐷, and I don’t mind that. It gets rid of all those nasty toxins in me, but, the other side of that is, I am thirsty all the time.
The other thing I am going to talk with my Dr about is his take on anti inflammatory diets. Again, I am quite sure what he will say about this, but I am wondering if I quit sugar and dairy, if this would help. I already eat NO GLUTEN, very few night shades, lots of protein, so I am just wondering.
Which leads me to another question for you readers. If you use or eat Ghee, tell me about this. What does it taste like, can you use it in place of butter???? Comments, suggestions for brands?
Well one and all, my walking buddy is giving me the stink eyes, 👀I am sure I know what he needs. I better get at it.
