Hey People, WOW, I have really been MIA! I apologize for that but here I am, and am going to update all.
I hope all of you readers had a good holiday and a good weekend. Since MH has some things going on, we spent a lot of time over the last four days preparing and also, just chilling!!!! Sometimes, you just need to say what the heck and kick back! So, That is what we did and now, I am paying for this.
First on Saturday, we had lunch with some very good friends that we have not seen for a long time! We went to Soul Vegetarian, and the food was GREAT!!! Everything they serve is vegan and gluten free. I had the bean patty, sweet potato shuffle and corn bread. OK, the corn bread was not the best, but by the time I ate everything else, I did not have room for that any way. The others all tried the mac n cheese also, and they said it was unbelievable. MH and I will definitely go again. They also make smoothies in the room next to them, so MH and my friends MH, each had smoothies that were to die for. My friend and I had mint chip ice cream. There are not words to say how good that was!!!!! Again, all of this was vegan! AWESOME!!!
We did get out on our motorcycles on Sunday, and it was gorgeous day out. We got in prior to the rain hitting, so that was good. It is always so pleasant to be out on the bikes. It really clears my mind, and then I get very motivated.
Which leads me to my new goals I am going to try to achieve every day for the next 21 days. (Some of this is on the advise of my DR) I am going to try to do all of the below EVERYDAY!
Drink 100 plus ounces of water every day
Eat 105 plus grams of proteins every day
Eat less sugar every day
Lift weights heavier every day
Be more active every day
Take collagen and gelatin every day
Have a positive attitude every day
Post to my blog every day
Be kind to at least one person every day
I will update you all every day on my progress. Feel free to join me on this and we can keep each other motivated!
We also went to a mall that I did not even know was there, and found some really different shops. We felt like we were back in high school with some of the styles we saw, and I bought this Still trying to decide if I can pull off the bare midriff???? I know I need to work on my abs more, and I am headed to the gym in about an hour, to do just that. I will post some pics from the gym as well.
This if the gelatin I am tryingSupposedly, this will help my joints and RA, so what the hey, I will give it a try. I will update everyone as to if I feel the difference or not.
I am also trying some new protein powder, along with a new milk, high protein and low sugar, in my quest to try to get in more protein. I will post pictures of those tomorrow, along with details of what I am making.
Well gang, I have to get a little more work done, then on to the gym. I haven’t worked out since Friday, and I am NOT looking forward to this, I know it is going to hurt!!!!
