My Journey

My Life, one day at a time!
I have seriously been MIA and I apologize!

I have seriously been MIA and I apologize!

Hey There Readers, Family, Friends and Followers,

I am SOOO sorry, I made a promise last week and did not keep it, I am ashamed!  It took me some time to get everything caught up once we returned, BUT, things are on schedule now and, BONUS, I honestly feel that some of the things my new Dr. is having me due and take are working! I am sleeping a little better and do  have a bit more energy.  If this continues, 🤗the sky will be the limit!!!

I have been doing pretty good on my goals, in fact, the last two days I have gotten some killer work outs in.  I hope I can keep that up!  Obviously, I have not been posting to my blog everyday, one of you out there should have sent me a nasty gram!  But starting today, I will.  I have done random acts of kindness and I am a lot happier, maybe due to more sleep. As for the walking 100 miles in the month of August, today is August 8 and I have walked a total of 25 miles.  The last two days have been VERY short jogs in the morning since it has been raining.

Drink 100 oz plus of H2O every day

Eat 110+ grams of protein every day

Be VERY active EVERY DAY

Lift HEAVIER Weights (this is five days a week)

Post to this blog EVERY DAY

Be kind to at least one person every day

Be happy all of the time

Quit Whining

I am also going to set a goal of walking/jogging 100 miles in the month of August

I will keep you all updated on this EVERY DAY!!!  REALLY!!

At my follow up with the new Dr. he found many interesting things that may help to explain why I am always tired, can’t sleep, no energy and so on.  He is having me start several new things, but, I can only start one every other day, to make sure there are no side effects, so I have not even started all of them yet.  But so far, 👍what I have started seems to be helping.  He has also really stressed less sugar and has given some tips to help with sugar cravings.  I know everyone always talks about freezing grapes as a snack, but I have never done this.  I tried this and wow, it really does help with your sweet tooth!  Who knew!

He has suggested having food allergy testing done, but I am not sure about that.  Has anyone out there done this and if so, what do you think?

I did get another Fresh Harvest Basket last week, but neglected to post pictures, so here you go:        This basket had pole beans, mini watermelon, cherry tomatoes, fingerling potatoes, bibb lettuce, and kale.  As usual, everything was great.  Don’t forget, the people at Fresh Harvest have offered my readers a discount:

Fresh Harvest is your direct partnership with local, organic farmers in Georgia and the health they can provide you.  They simply gather up their produce and deliver it to your door.  Baskets are customizable and you can add other local groceries like meat, milk, and eggs.

 How it works:

They have made a special offer to the readers of my blog.  If you enter Tamie Eats Healthy as your referral you will get $10 off your first basket.  Check it out!

I found this new coffee, Black Rifle Coffee Company and read some about them and their coffee.  The coffee sounded really good, so I got one bag,   This is great coffee.  This is a darker roast, because that is what I like, and after I received this bag, I had to make myself a cup right away!  This is really good coffee.  I suggest that you check it out if you like good coffee.  https://www.blackriflecoffee.com

I am getting tired of the same breakfast every day, even though I am a very routine person, so I bought some Siggi’sYogurt to try.  I tried some this morning and it is not too bad.  I think it might be more of an acquired taste, but I will definitely have more.

For my lunch today I concocted a big salad of leftovers and power greens.   I added scallops, cherry tomatoes, sauerkraut, hard boiled egg, and numeric to the greens, along with a little lime juice, apple cider vinegar, and Braggs Nutritional Yeast and came up with a very healthy and tasty lunch!  Plus, I cleaned out the refrigerator.

Well gang, I think I have caught up  some, for now.  Like I said, I have most everything caught up and back on schedule, so I will post again tomorrow, and if I don’t one of you readers send me a message and kick me in the a$$!

So for now, be active, get up and move, be happy, keep a smile on your face, be thankful, tomorrow is a promise to no one, and HYDRATE!!!

Be better today then yesterday and be better tomorrow than today!

xoxoxo
