New things and Favorite Things
How is everyone doing? I know I missed a day, but, that’s all I have, BUT! Here I am today!
I am not going to update you all daily on my goals, since I have been making or at least coming very close to all of my goals each day. And lets be honest, you are probably getting tired of reading about them.
As for the miles I have walked in the month of August, as of yesterday, August 15th, I have walked a total of 81 miles. I do not think will have any issues meeting the August Goal of 120 miles. I amy have to increase to at least 150 miles for the month of September. I do a lot of walking.
I had told you the other day, I got a very nice little surprise in the mail from Caroline’s Dream. So far, I have tried two of the samples I received. I have tried the Peppermint Foot Creme. This is not like other Peppermint Foot Cremes I have tried. Most of the time this will give your foot a tingling feeling. This doe not, and I really like that. This has a very pleasant scent, and leaves your feet very soft. I have been putting this on in the evening, and then put on a light pair of socks. I really like this and suggest trying this.
I am also using the Lavender Cream. Again, I have been using this at night, right before I go to bed. I don’t always sleep so great, but I apply this to my face, especially my temples, and I feel it helps with sleep, a little. This also has a very light pleasant scent. And, it leaves your face very soft. I will keep using this and I do suggest you try it.
You can see all of Caroline’s products at https://www.carolinesdream.com
I have three more samples I will try and then review on my blog. If you have questions on this, please let me know and I will try to answer for you or direct you to Caroline.
My favorite shoes are These are the only shoes I wear any longer, (I do wear Hoka’s once in awhile also, but mainly, Altra’s. ) They have the bigger toe box, and for feet like mine, (or anyone with RA) this is perfect.
I have been eating this new Yogurt, I am sure this has been around for awhile, but I just found it at Whole Foods, and it has a great taste to it. Plus, it have a lot of probiotics in it.
I have been using Braggs Nutritional Yeast, (thank you MFP for telling me telling me about this) it has a lot of B vitamins and lots of protein. And, it adds a really cheesy flavor to foods.
These are just a few of my favorite things I am trying or using. I will add more tomorrow.
My biggest struggle now is finding good and non boring high protein breakfast. I was eating oatmeal everyday for some time, and kind of got burnt out on that. I am now eating the yogurt I found, but that will get old also. Suggestions? Please share with me.
I have told you all I like to listen to podcasts, and my favorite two are Paleomg and Girls Gone Wod. I feel like I personally know Joy and Claire. If I ever get to Denver, I would like to meet these two in person. They talk about life and everything that goes with it. I find myself laughing out loud when I listen to them. If anyone has suggestions for other podcasts, let me know.
Well buckaroos! I hope everyone is having a great day!
I think that’s all I have for today. Again, please send comments, suggestions, critics??? I am open to all.
And remember, stay active, get up and move, be happy, keep a smile on your face, be thankful, tomorrow is a promise to no one, and Hydrate!!! LOTS! (Maybe give your fur kid a hug as well)
Check back tomorrow for reviews on a few new things.
