Yes, I am still here!
I cannot believe it has been SOO long since I have posted anything to my blog. I would like to say I am sorry, because I am, but I promise I will try to improve.
Life has just been very busy. Since the last time I posted, I have been able to get all of the things that were in need of repair done! AMEN to that. We are going to have a new AC system installed, but that will be this fall, when it gets cooler. After that we are hoping to get a new tankless water heater in, and that will be it for this year, I hope.
Before I move on, I must talk briefly about Harvey and Irma. Texas has had major devastation, and it seems everyone I talk to either has family or knows of someone that has been affected. Now Irma is due to hit Florida, my thoughts and prayers are with all. I am trying to think of some way I can help these people. Maybe you readers have ideas, if so, send your ideas to me and I will share with all. Lets all take 10 seconds to say a quick prayer for these people.
As for me, I have been really good about getting at least 120 grams of protein per day! I am always looking for new ideas on how to do this, so if any of you readers have ideas, tips or tricks, please share with me.
I have been drinking lots of water, but now that it is getting a bit cooler, I am also drinking a little more coffee. I am not sure that is good, but I do like the taste of coffee.
My sleep has not been so good. I am trying everything that I can think of, and I am starting to feel this. Again, if any of you readers have any suggestions, please share with me. I have tried the lavender oils, teas, relaxation methods, even a small glass of wine and 😞 still no 💤 Please share any ideas you have!
Did I tell you I joined a new gym? I have only been there once, but part of the sign up was one free training session, so I have an appointment for this next week. I will update everyone on how this goes next week. There a few things at this gym that I have no idea what to do with them, and I want to learn. So, here goes! My goal is still, at my age, to gain some muscle and lean out. Have any of you mature readers been able to accomplish this?
Beauty tips, please help! I want to find a way to PLUMP up my lips, without the injections. Does anyone know of a way to do this? Has anyone tried anything that really works? I have tried different plumping lipsticks, but they always seem to make my lips dry out. Please share any ideas you may have. (I have pencil thin lips)
My business has been keeping me crazy busy! It seems just when I think I have a grip on it, all hell breaks lose, but it is usually for the good. I am always trying to get more customers, different parts, more business, and that is not an easy task.
I want to share with all that I am starting to feel better, I do have more energy, feel more human, am lifting heavier, eating much better, now, if I could just get a good solid 7-8 hours of sleep a night, that would be awesome.
Well kiddos, I really want to write more, but I have a few work things I need to clean up yet.

In all sincerity, my plan starting no later then Monday, is to post at least three times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I plan on blogging about my workouts, my food that I am actually starting to prepare a LOT more of, rather than MH doing all of the cooking, things I am trying and things I like, ( I owe a couple of people reviews on items I am trying) my fur baby, who is absolutely the best, travels I have coming up, shows and podcasts I am loving, and just life in general. (On a side note, there is a series on Netflix, Blindsight, if you have not seen this check it out, it is absolutely addictive from he first show)
Well gang, remember, to hydrate, drink lots of water, be active, get up and move, be happy, keep a smile on your face, and live life like there is not tomorrow, since tomorrow is a promise to no one.
