Be Safe Everyone
I want to start this blog off by saying I hope that everyone that is or will be affected by Harvey and now Irma have taken precautions to be safe and stay safe. I have several good friends, MDIL mother lives in FL, MS has many friends in FL, and I have asked if everyone is safe. So far, other then to return to their homes and see if they have damage, they are safe. I can only pray all remain that way.
Even here in the city where we live, they are issuing warning after warning. We do have a supply of bottled water, flashlights with new batteries, and a few candles, but hopefully, we will not need anything.
MH and I donated blood yesterday, we do this every 56 days, because we can, and the people at the Red Cross told us they have been extremely busy with people donating blood and platelets, for hurricane victims. I know this is a very minor thing in the big scheme of things, but every little bit helps.
While watching football yesterday, they did a piece on JJ Watts and how so far, he himself has raised 37 million dollars. That is a huge amount, and my hat is off to him for doing this. We don’t always hear the good that people do. Way to go JJ!

On to other things. It was a good weekend. We managed to get out on the motorcycles on Saturday, and actually avoided a lot of the traffic, and got a good ride in. We needed to get back however, to make our football food, (we made enough for both Saturday and Sunday games) so we didn’t need to worry about more food. We made pico de gallo, all sorts of fresh cut vegetables, ribs and chicken, cole slaw and some mac n cheese. (I did not eat the mac n cheese because it was not gluten free) Everything else was delicious! Even had enough for lunch today.
Our NCH did not win on Saturday, but they looked pretty good. I am not so sure I am sold on the quarter back yet, but let’s give him another game or two. I am hoping for a winning season here. GBR!!!
The Falcons won on Sunday, YAY!!!! and they actually looked great defensively. I am hoping for a winning season here as well. Go Falcons!
Needless to say, due to the weather, I did not get a walk in today, but I did get a GREAT WO in and then I did a really quick mile on the treadmill. For my workout, I did legs today:
Leg press
Leg Extensions
Kettle Bell Squats
Leg Curls
Walking Lunges
Lots of Jumping Jacks
I am increasingly going heavier, so I hope I can firm my muscles up some.
I had asked for help the other day from any readers who may have tried any type of lip plumping glosses, serums, or anything to make their ups look fuller. I received a few replies, but I am still looking for help on this subject. Please send me your trials and errors to

Well, because we had so much good food over the weekend, I ate WAY too much, so I really need to behave, starting NOW! I did start the day off with a very high protein breakfast, and I am trying to drink a lot of water today to flush out all of those nasty toxins.
Well gang, remember, to hydrate, drink lots of water, be active, get up and move, be happy, keep a smile on your face, and live life like there is not tomorrow, since tomorrow is a promise to no one.
xoxoxo till Monday
