Hey Gang,

I hope that everyone is okay after Irma has done her thing.  We were some of the very fortunate people.  Other then a few branches that were in my way this morning on my jog, we had no damage, no loss of electricity, just lots of rain and wind.  Thank You God!

Well, after my FU with my Dr. on Monday, I have decided that it is time to get serious about my health, weight, eating, sleeping and working out.  It seems I have been kind of lack a daisyack working out recently.  Every day I can make excuses why I am just doing a light work out today, I will go HEAVY tomorrow.  Tomorrow never comes.  So, today is/was the day. Today is THAT tomorrow! I got up a few minutes early, got a good brisk walk/jog in with Mr. G, then went back to one of my favorite programs.  I am not naming the program, as I want to ask the team I got this from that it is okay to mention them, but it is a killer workout.  I AM going to keep this up until at least Thanksgiving, ( I have that time frame because we have travel plans then, and that will be my break) and I am also getting serious about my eating.  I do really good all day, and then at night, it is like the refrigerator YELLS at me to come eat everything I can get my hands on.  Do you guys have ideas for not eating at night, after dinner?  PLEASE send your suggestions to me, PLEASE!!!!  MD suggested to drink seltzer water when I get the urge to 🐷out.  I WILL try this!

My workout today was the below:

Dumb Bell Bench Press

Tri Dips

Incline Dumb Bell Flys

Incline Overhead Tri Extension

Push Ups

One Arm Over head Press

I did four sets of each, 10 reps and increased my weight on the last of each rep!

I also need to improve my sleep.  I know this is easier said then done, so again, PLEASE send me your ideas on how to improve my sleep.  Has anyone ever tried zinc supplements for sleep?  I have heard that might help, but ????  FEEDBACK!

Last night, in trying to improve my slept, I tool a REALLY long hot bath with my favorite  This has a really relaxing lavender scent.  I have not done this for a long time and it felt great.  It didn’t really help me sleep.

This morning, I used this again to scrub my face  This leaves your face feeling REALLY clean, and after my shower, I applied this to my face.  I have blogged about these before, but if you have not checked these products out, please go to

These are all natural products, work very well, and very reasonably priced.  If you have tried them, let me know what you think.

I am thinking of getting the new nom nom paleo cookbook.  Not that I cook a lot, but I think if I had some new ideas, it would be helpful.  Does anyone have this and if so, is it a good cookbook?

Well gang, remember, to hydrate, drink lots of water, be active, get up and move, be happy, keep a smile on your face, and live life like there is not tomorrow, since tomorrow is a promise to no one.
