Changing the Blog’s Name
In doing a lot of thinking over the weekend, I have decided to change the name of my blog, and the e-mail address. I am going to work my a$$ off on this blog, in hopes to turn it into my business and also, long term plan is to start a podcast, so I have to get my a$$ busy. I just decided the name was too long, and really did not reflect what I was talking about. SO, the new name
Tamiesjourney is what this is all about. Things I do, eat, use, exercises, travels, (I have several good trips coming up) just my life journey in general. You will be redirected, but the new name and address is http://www.tamiesjourney.com
The new e-mail address is easy as well, tamie@tamiesjourney.com
If I could ask you readers, to send me a test e-mail, I want to make sure this is set up correctly. I will respond to all.
So now, I am focusing more on things I have done or tried, foods, places I have been, exercises, my journey with fitness, my travel journeys, and just my life journeys. I want to get more on the fitness side, as well as travel, and I want to help you readers with advise. So, please feel free to ask questions.
I experimented with some new foods this weekend. I made MH a Molten Lava cake and myself a High Protein, Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Coolies.
It doesn’t look that appetizing, but WAS IT GOOD! and so simple. total time 5 minutes! This might become a staple for snacks.
On Saturday, we got chicken and sides from Gus’s Fried Chicken. The food itself was VERY good, but, we called our order in on Friday afternoon, so that it would be ready right at 11 AM on Saturday. We got there about 11:15 and they did not even have record of the order. Had we not had people coming over to watch football with us, we would have walked out. I have to say, their chicken is really good, nice an spicy, but the service left a little to be desired!!
I had also made a big bowl of Pico de gallo.
It could have had a little more spice to it, but it went very well with the Blue Corn Chips.
Sunday, Mr. G got his weekly Puppacino, He somehow manages to get every last bit of this out of his cup. And he has gotten to the point he expects this. Funny Dog!
We also had massages this weekend. We do this once a month. For me, I enjoy them because I feel in addition to the relaxation benefits, it does wonders for my skin, and my circulation, as well as inflammation. We have a wonderful massuese that we have had for almost four years now. Thank You Mandy.
I am working again to increase my daily protein, MS says that I will never build muscle because I am afraid of gaining weight and not eating enough. He is probably right, so again, on a mission to eat more protein. Also, drink more H20. I have been a bit lax in that area recently.
Tomorrow I am going to write about my workouts, what I do, how much I list, and a few pictures to show what I do. Check back tomorrow for more.
Remember, to hydrate, drink lots of water, be active, get up and move, be happy, keep a smile on your face, and live life like there is not tomorrow, since tomorrow is a promise to no one.
xoxoxo till Monday
