How gorgeous is it outside!!!! The temperature is just perfect. It has been VERY comfortable walking in the mornings, the afternoons are not too hot, and the evenings are cool. What more can you ask for.
I had a beautiful view of the full moon this morning on my “jalk”. It lit up the sky was a very nice!
I felt good this morning and after our “jalk”, I got a really good work out in. I know I am probably over reacting, but the scale has not been kind to me lately, and my clothes seem a bit tight, so I need to “kick it up a notch”. My workout this morning was a mish mash of just a couple of excercises:
Dumb Bell Bench Press 3 sets of 12 each at 20 lbs each
Lunges while holding a 25 lb plate overhead, 3 sets of 10 ea leg
Farmers Walk with 25 lb plates in each hand
Kick backs 3 sets of 12 each with 15 lbs each
Bench Dips 3 sets of 12 each
Lat Pull Downs 3 sets of 12 each at 55 lbs
Kettle Bell Squats 3 sets of 12 each using 25 lb
I then did 6 minutes on the treadmill at a pace of 4.5 and an incline of 5
And finished up with 5 minutes on the stationary bike
Then I did a good stretch session
I always feel good after a good workout like this.
I also am trying to be better with my eating, for my lunch today, I had
Smoked Salmon, korean sweet potato, mushroom and gluten free gnocchi from last nights dinner, carrot sticks, hard boiled egg and a pickle. Lots of color and good protein.
I haven’t had these pickles for a long time, and had forgot how much I like these.
This is not a yogurt I would typically buy, but really, how could I resist the Pumpkin Pie Flavor. I might have this later today, and once I try it, I will let you know what I think.
I have some travels coming up. At the end of the month I will meet MH in Denver, actually, I think we are staying in the Westminster area, near the airport. This is a very short trip, but I am excited to see the mountains again. I know that we are spending one full day in Boulder. If anyone from this area has suggestions for Gluten Free Cafes or restaurants, or nice walks to do, please send me your suggestions.
It has been a little slow for me this week, due to the Chinese Golden Week Holiday, but for some reason, I have been extremely busy. I always seem to “save” things to do during this time, and I think I “saved” a little too much this time, it is already Thursday and I still have a long list to get finished. But, if I ran out of things to do, I would be upset as well.
