I don’t know why, but it seems the earlier I get up, the more I have to do. 😖 Oh Well, maybe I just need to work faster and smarter!
I did get a great “jalk” in again today and another awesome work out. Today I did:
Sumo Squats 3 sets of 12 reps at 25 lbs, 30 lbs and 35 lbs
Bar Back with Straight Bar 3 sets of 12 reps each with 100 lbs, 105 lbs and 110 lbs
Over Head Plated Walk with 25 lb plate, 3 sets of the length of the hall and back
Farmers Walk with 25 lb plates, 3 sets of the length of the hall and back
Over Head Rope Tri 3 sets of 12 reps, 40 lbs each
Seated Bi Curl 3 sets of 12 reps each, 12 lbs, 15 lbs and 15 lbs
I also did Bench Dips, Push Up and Abs on the stability ball
After this I did a quick 6 minutes on the treadmill with an incline of 5.5 and speed of 4.3
Also did 4 minutes on the stationary bike to cool down, and then a good stretch.
Again, I always feel much better after a great workout.
I did actually get a question from a reader today, Thank You MaryBeHealthy for your question. Her question was “How do I motivate myself to work out every day?” Well first, I do not workout EVERY day, just Monday thru Friday. And to be honest, I am such a creature of habit, if I do not do this, I just feel off all day. I have tried to not work out in the morning, but go down maybe after lunch, and that just does not work! But you have to really get your mind wrapped around it, the work out. I make a list of my work out the night before, and I make sure I have everything ready for the work out. I like to listen to Podcasts while working out, this seems to really keep me going.
Mary, I don;t know if that has answered your question, but just give it a try. And remember, it take 21 days to make a habit, so try do this for at least 21 days. Get back to me and let me know if this helps.
I felt like I needed an afternoon pick me up today, so I am enjoy a glass of generic seltzer water. This is really refreshing and sometimes, you just need something different.
I can’t believe it is the weekend already. This week has flown by, but I did get a lot accomplished, and when I get a lot done, I feel better about everything. How about you guys?
We are supposed to do a walk tomorrow, but there is also rain in the forecast. If we do end up doing this walk, I will take pictures and post about it, because it is more of an entertaining walk then anything. Could be interesting.
I posted about this the other day, but I have been using this daily. Ok, it is like “soap on a rope” but I LOVE this, the scent is awesome, it lathers you up great, and it is like a Loofah! If you have checked out Lynda’s soaps, please do.
