National Arthritis Day

Today is National Arthritis Day.  This is something I am very familiar with, this is sometime known as the Invisible Disease.  You look perfectly normal from the outside, but the inside is a whole different story.  For me personally, there are days where I feel great, have all kinds of energy, and get a lot done.  I feel like I could conquer the world. But, the majority of my days, I could get up in the morning and go back to bed an hour later.  But life does not permit that, so you push on through the day, pretend all is good, and hope tomorrow will be better.  I am trying to be more involved with the Organization, and hope that one day, there will be a cure for this.  My prayers to anyone who has this disease.

Enough of that.  I told you yesterday there were many more of my favorite things I wanted to share with you.  For example, I started my day off today with waffles made from     IMG_2187  This is a very tasty and satisfying Pancake and Waffle Mix.  I found this at Whole Foods.  If you like pumpkin, you should try this.

IMG_2109  These are my new favorite chips.  They have just the right amount of saltiness, taste and bonus, made with Avocado Oil.  Again, you can find these at Whole Foods.

IMG_1965  This is something I use at least twice a day on my meals  It adds flavor, protein and a lot of vitamins.  I have tried it on popcorn, but I did not like that.  This was recommended to me by a very good friend, and like I said, I use it every day.  Thank You Patty!

IMG_1690  This is the collagen that I use everyday.  I learned about this from Paleomg, and started using it daily.  I am not sure that it is doing my skin any good, but my hair and nails grow a lot faster, and they are stronger.  I have a link for this on my page, if you want to order some.

daily-motivation-10  Ok this is just a good motivation.  I should post this daily on IG, just to get myself and people going. What do you think?

I think that I have posted about MOST of my favorite things, but I know I will think of more.  As I do, I will share them as well.

Since I have been very busy today, and still have lots to do, I am going to cut this post short, but I will post more tomorrow.

Oh, I did try on my Thirdlove Bra, and the overall fit and feel is great.  My only issue, I like just a bit more coverage, so I have contacted them to see if they have a different bra I can try with more coverage.

OK, I was listening to the latest Podcast from Girls Gone WOD today, and it was very interesting.  They had a PCP on, and she was telling how she wanted to get into medicine to be proactive, rather than preventive, for health care.  This is a GREAT idea, if only doctors did think proactive, instead of preventive.  But then, I guess that is on us as a general public, because for most of us, the only time we go to the doctor is when we are sick.  How do you feel about this?

Ok I have one question or issue, I want your help with.  My worst time of day for snacking is at night, when I can finally sit and relax, and probably watch TV.  It is like I cannot sit without eating.  PLEASE share your ideas on how to QUIT this, or what you have done to stop this.  Please send your shares to me at tamie@tamiesjourney.com  or share them with me on IG, tamiesjourney.
