My Life, one day at a time!

From Dark & Gloomy to Sunshine

Well Happy Monday Everyone!

What a difference a few hours makes.  It started out rainy this morning, dark, gloomy, windy and down pouring, IMG_2283and now, the sun is trying to peak out, the rain is gone, it has dried up, and the air has the fresh, clean smell. IMG_2284  I like the second MUCH better.  Maybe the weather was why I had NO get up and go this morning.

Well another great weekend.  We decided to get out on the motorcycles Saturday, started out as a wonderful ride.  Made out first stop for coffee, and decided to try a new hamburger place.  Culver’s79b815be-6bf2-417c-9d64-9d3cdd06965a87583  We had heard this advertised during college football games, and decided to give it a try.  It turned out to be a great quick burger.  Very tasty, good service, and they have cheese curds!!!  How bad could it be!

As we ventured out further into the mountains, the traffic got worse, then worse, then even worse.  Basically, there was no way out, so we just had to very slowly work our way back to the main highway and try to get home.  It was a good ride, beautiful weather, but the traffic was BAD.

Sunday, we thought that we would try a new coffee place we had seen, Coffee Bianco.   a-DSC_0287This turned out to be a very good coffee shop.  The coffee was very good, MH got some Chocolate Chip Cookies that he said were great, the service was very friendly, and overall atmosphere, good.  They have an out door seating area, which is nice, and they seemed to have a steady flow of regular customers.  They offer a large variety of coffees, lattes, teas, and some small plates.  We will most surely return here, it will be a nice place to stop for coffee when we are out on the motorcycles.

After that, the day was kind of a lazy day, and then very disappointing when the Falcons really sucked up the place with their football game.  I really like football, but this is getting very disappointing, might need to find a new team to watch, maybe the Seahawks.

Well gang, I know this is a very brief post, but since I have been in REALLY slow motion all morning, I feel like I have been treading through chunky peanut butter, I need to get back to work.  This will be a short work week for me, since I am going to Denver on Thursday.  I hope to have all kinds of foods, coffees, and little shops to blog about during my brief trip. I have been watching the weather, so I know how to pack, and dress, and BURRR, I will need to dress really warm, maybe they will have snow while I am there!
