Hey there all you people, (hopefully friends and followers)

You know, I started this Saturday morning, and am just getting around to finishing it!  It was a busy crazy weekend.

First, the snow on Friday, IMG_2460 was actually kind of a surprise.  Even though they were predicting it, it was little more than they were taking about.  And, it got VERY cold out.  When Mr G and I went out for our walk on Saturday morning, it was 25 degrees.  A bit chilly.

Anyhoo, on to other things.  We had a very nice lunch and visit with one of our dear friends yesterday, TB, you know who are.  It was so nice to visit with him and see that he is really doing great.  Good Job TB and Keep it up!

Working out:  I did pretty good on working out last week, and off to a good start today.  I really meant to do more today, I had good energy, but slept a minute too long, so had to cut it a little short.  Today I did the below:

Bench press

Leg press

Kick backs

Chest Press


Step ups

On the above, I did three sets of 12 each, and then in between I did jumping jacks, high kicks and sprints.  Feeling pretty good right now.

I am going to start to do Yoga again, just don’t know that I will have time before the holidays, but decided I am going to do one class a week, now you guys make sure I stick to this.

Eating:  When I shopped this weekend, I bought enough grapefruits (I hope) so that I can one a day, and also the same with avocados.  The grapefruit I had this morning had a wonderful sweet taste to it.  Good source of Vitamin C.

I am working on the New Atkins Diet program as much as I can, all in all, I think that I am eating pretty good, except at night, I still can’t kick that night snack, right before I go to bed.  Any suggestions for this, please let me know.

Recipes and baking:  I hope to have time this afternoon to make another recipe, this time, I am planning on making cookies, or, peanut butter protein balls.  Whichever I do, I will post pics on IG as well as here on my blog.

I am thinking about adding a recipe once a week, of a cocktail.  (I am not a big drinker, but I thought this would be a fun thing to do.)  Comments on this?

Camara:  I got some feedback on my questions about camera’s and picture taking, but I would really like more input.  For you bloggers and readers out there that do have cameras, and do your own picture taking and editing, how much work it is?  Are there specific camera’s you would recommend?  Has anyone taken classes for this?  Again, please feel free to contact me at or DM me in IG.
