Never Stop Learning
Well hello out there!
Another Day, and Busy AGAIN!, but, the good news is, I am getting things checked off my list, YAY!!!
As usual, started the day off listening to one of my many favorite podcasts, and learned a few things about myself and this blog. They were talking about how when they started blogging, it was more like their diary, they just “talked” to the readers. I realized as I was listening, this is more or less, what I am doing now. I am not sure if you readers enjoy this or not, but send me an e-mail and let me know. If you don’t like it, I might change my format.
It was a little chilly this morning walking, I think it might have been like 23 degrees, but we went out, walked, and had coffee. Mr G loves this colder weather.
Speaking of G, he got his box from Chewy yesterday, and he was like a kid in a candy store. (Of course, I made him wait a quick minute) He got all kinds of goodies in his box!
I got a relatively decent work out in this morning. Today I did the following:
Tri Bar Pull Down
Bench Dips I really like doing body weight exercises
Jumping Jacks and High Kicks
Kettle Bell Swings
I also did a good stretch afterwards. Again, three sets of 12 of each!💪🏼
I really need to watch I am eating, I think the new treatment is making me bloated, and or gaining weight, and I do mean drastically. So, since I wasn’t really hungry this morning, I made a quick breakfast of Kite Hill Yogurt, strawberry, boiled egg and Braggs Nutritional Yeast. Quick and easy and filling! What do you guys enjoy for a quick and easy breakfast?
As I was listening to the podcast this morning, it was almost as though they were talking to me, about me. It is so true that sometimes we get fixated on the silliest things, isn’t it? I know that I become obsessed and almost anal about some things. (I do know that I am OCD, and cannot start my day until everything is in order) but don’t think I am a neat freak, far from it!
I get stuck on something, for example, eating, and I feel like I cannot have certain foods because, whatever the reason. I am very careful about what I eat, some foods do have an adverse reaction for me, but on the other hand, if I feel like I am denying myself certain foods, I want them worse, does that make sense? Do you feel like that?
What a beautiful day it is turning out to be. The sun is very nice and warm, and the sky is so blue. Just hoping this cold weather doesn’t hang around too long. (I am not a cold weather person)
My lunch today does not look that great, but trust me, it tasted good. I have a pan that makes things that look like a little football, and today, I put eggs, all kinds of chopped vegetable, left over sausage in the pan. I also had some celery, carrots and beef jerky. Hoping this will keep me satiated for time.
Again, I did not get any baking done yesterday, but I did make an awesome dinner, that I neglected to take a picture of. I marinated chicken thighs in lemon pepper seasoning, and then baked in a slow oven. These turned out great!! Even for me making them😀
