HAPPY GROUND HOG DAY!

Well Hello all you readers and I hope you will come back and read my blog again.

Well the ground hog saw his shadow today, so I guess we have 6 more weeks of thisIMG_2599.jpg  I am really ready for ☀️

I could make a lot of excuses as to why I have been MIA for so long, almost one moth now, but do you really want to hear all this.  Hell No, you do not,  So, I will just pick up and start blogging again.

I have done a lot of thinking, listening, reading and thinking about the direction I want my blog to move and grow.  Well guess what, I have decided to just blog about whatever is going on in my mind and my life on the day I am blogging.  It may be anything from fitness, food, health, podcasts I listen to, series I am watching, or just my thoughts for that day.  Can you handle that?  That way, you will never know what to expect.

Okay, here goes, this is just me talking.

In the month that I have been MIA, I have had a few things done, a few tests, and thank you God, all is good, and for whatever reason, I am feeling BETTER then I have in a long time!!  Really Good, so with that being said, my mind, my body and my fingers are working like crazy!  I do have a word of advise for all of you who are reading.  Go to the Dr., do what the Dr. tells you to, it is a good idea to find out why and what the end game will be, ask if there are side affects, and if you do not like what the Dr. is telling you , get a second opinion.  If I had done this 10+ years ago, I could have avoided a few things.

Because I am feeling better, I have been getting some really good workouts in, I am lifting a little heavier, and all is good.  Next week I am going to switch up my routine a bit, and see what happens.  If you want to share what you are doing, please do and we can compare work outs.  E-mail me at

I have and am making a conscious decision to not be so fixated on diet, weight, food, I am working on just being happy, healthy, taking one day at a time.  Life is good!

If my body feels a little stiff and or maybe bloated, I tell myself, this is normal, you just need more water and to be more active.  If I am a little tired, it is just because maybe I did not sleep that good, but I will sleep GREAT tonight and tomorrow will be a better day. On the days when I wake up STARVING, I tell myself that is good, I did not eat so much yesterday, but just the right amount.  I am trying to just live, and not be so anal about my body and eating!!!!  I can use words of encouragement on this!

(Okay everybody, time for a sip of water)

Coffee, MH was in Denver last week and went to a new coffee shop and brought some coffee from INK, IMG_2607 VERY GOOD COFFEE!  (Okay everybody, lets all have a drink of coffee)  I do like my coffee and enjoy a good cup.  Do any of you have favorites?  Please share if you do!

Series we are binge watching.  Okay, I am sure most of you have watched this long ago, but we are binge watching Longmire now.  This is quite addictive, and we just started watching this.  We are already on Season 5, and just started watching it very recently.  What is your favorite series? We will need more to watch, now that football is almost over!

By the way, Sunday is the Super Bowl, who are you routing for?

Comfortable Bras.  OK this is just for you gals out there, but what is your favorite bra that is comfortable to wear all day?  I cannot seem to find one that is REALLY comfortable.  Right now, I have on a Lululemon sports bra, and this is the best I can come up with.  Please share with me.

I am not going to talk about goals or things I plan on doing this year, I am simply saying, quit talking, this is the YEAR!!!!  I will post my progress as I make accomplishments.

Dry Shampoo.  How many of you out there dry shampoo?  I have not tried this yet, but one of the many podcasts I listen to said they quit putting their hair in a bun, pony tail or braid because they were getting the cowlick from hell.  Well, maybe that explains it!😜  So, I am making a conscious effort to actually wear my hair down,  I almost always wear it in a braid, and I am also trying to wash it less, that is why I am asking about the dry shampoo.  What is your favorite brands and do they actually work?

I am still contemplating the camera, but until I get my work caught up, and oh, I need to get our taxes together, and a few other things done, I have put that on the back burner.

Podcasts, I listen to several podcasts, Paleomg, GGW, Fed and Fit, and a few others, but I really looking for more.  What do you listen to?  It can be about fitness, health, whatever, I just need some new stuff because I listen a lot.

I have actually thought about starting a podcasts, what do you guys think?
