Friday☀️ This is my new motto!

Hello Again!

Is everyone doing well and ready for the weekend?  I know I am, BUT, I really wish the weather would be sunny.  They are forecasting rain for the entire weekend.  Bummer!  Oh well, let’s make the best of it!

I feel like I am getting things caught up, organized again, a little DEEP cleaning done, and  am keeping really busy.

Food:  We made some lasagne the other day, this is when it was ready to put in the ovenIMG_2616.jpg  I really need to work on my photography skills!  This was when it just came out of the ovenIMG_2617.jpg  This turned out amazing.  We used pork instead of beef, and I mixed three different kinds of cheeses, as well as cottage cheese and ricotta cheese.  Luckily we did not make a REAL big pan of this, but we do have a few leftovers yet.

Let’s all take a drink of water-I am always very thirsty the day after my infusion so drink up!

Because it was dry the last two days, we did get good walks in, and then, like I said the other day, I have been trying to lift heavier every day.  Today for my workout I did:

Bent Over Rows, 3 sets of 8 reps each using 3o lb DB

Dumb Bell Dead Lifts, 3 sets of 8 reps each using 3o lb DB

Tri Dips, 3 sets of 10 reps each

Weighted Abs, 3 sets of 8 reps each using 30 lbs Kettle Bell

Back  3 sets of 8 reps each, 90 lbs, 100 lbs and 115 lbs

Leg Press, 3 sets of 8 reps each 115 lbs, 130 lbs and 145 lbs

and I also did Jumping Jacks and Sprints

I am feeling really good about all of this, and am going to try to do more(,heavier) next week!  What did you do for your workout today?

I did not get the chance to listen to any Podcasts today, BUMMER, but I am going to try Wine and Crime again, and if anyone has any other ideas or suggestions, please let me know.  In the next 6-8 weeks, I will be listening to a LOT of podcasts.

I have been doing some really DEEP cleaning, and came across some beer, (we are not big beer drinkers) so I thought I would be nice and give this to some friends.  Silly me, I did not even check it, but after I gave it away, they told me they had to throw all of this out, as it was either evaporated or over 10 years old.  How Embarrassing was this!!!  Guess it is time to do more really deep cleaning, but next time, I will check whatever I give away!  So after that, I went through our cupboards and made a little more space in my cupboards as well!  Next week I am hitting my clothes!  Might need some new workout clothes after I get through my closet!

I am trying IMG_2619.jpg  Paleomg talks about this so I thought I would give it a try.  I have only used it twice so far, but, so far I am really impressed.  This Perfect Hair Days Dry Shampoo gives my baby fine hair texture, and it make your hair smell really good.  This will cut down on the hair washing even more!  (Time savings)😃

I also finally bought more IMG_2618.jpgPrimally Pure Lavender Deodorant.  I had tried other all natural deodorants, but they just were not nearly as good as this.  If you have not tried this, please check them out, they have quite a few other skin and hair care items.  If you do use their items, or have tried them, let me know what you think.  Or, if you have a favorite brand, share that as well.

I had mentioned we are going to Honolulu soon, and I do have a couple of side trips booked, but I am looking for ideas for places to eat that offer locally sourced, organic and gluten free options.  Anyone out there have any suggestions, please e-mail me at

Valentines Day is just around the corner, as well as Fat Tuesday!.  What do you do for Valentines Day?  Since we went out to a really nice restaurant last weekend, and we are going to DAS Bar b due tomorrow, that will probably be the extent of our Valentines, unless I get really ambitious and make some special Valentine Day Sweet.  OH, how about some ideas from you guys.  Anyone have easy, gluten free sweet ideas?  Send them to me!

We are still binging on Longmire, but we are down to the last season.  I told MH we had to make this last, since this is the last season and the end of the series.  We are looking for more series similar to this to watch once we finish this, ideas?

Have you watched any of the Olympics yet?  We watched a little last evening, the mens figure skating and some down hill skiing.  These athletes are so talented and disciplined! Do you have a favorite event you watch?

I am still thinking seriously) about starting a podcast, but I have no idea how to do this.  Can you guys give me some guidance on this?  Have any of you ever done a podcasts?  Please e-mail me at
