My Journey

My Life, one day at a time!
Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day!

Well Hello All of you Valentines!

I hope that everyone is having or has had a Great Valentines Day.💝

We normally do not do anything for Valentines Day, but while we were having our coffee this morning, after our walk, MH says why don’t we open one of our very good bottles of wine that we got in Santa Rosa, (he picked out a very good bottle from Wren Hop). IMG_2648.jpgThen we decided instead of me making dinner, why not make a nice charcuterie tray.  I went to Whole Foods, (the most dangerous store in the city for me, I always find WAY more then I need) and picked up cheeses, meats, trout tartare, smoked mackerel, crackers and grapes.  I stayed away from the deserts because we are BOTH trying to lose a pound or two!  I am really looking forward to this! I will let you know tomorrow how it was!

I got another killer workout in today, and this always feels to very very good.  By the end of the day I am exhausted, but as long as I can get a work out in, all is good.  And again, I did go a little heavier today.  YAY!!! 🏋🏽 I will share my workout from tomorrow, I will not bore you with what I did today.

I have listened to several episodes of Wine and Crime now, I really am starting to like this.  The three girls do talk about real wine, and real crime, but with a lot of humor!  But since I do listen to so many podcasts, I still am looking for more ideas,  suggestions? Please send.

I am going through every inch of our condo, cleaning drawers, closets, cupboards, EVERYTHING.  Today I got though our closet, and in going through everything, I have learned that I have the most wonderful children in the Solar System.  I came across jewelry they gave me when they were much younger, things like the Birthstone Brats, does anyone even remember these?  There is a charm bracelet with all Mickey Mouse charms on it, because I LOVE Mickey Mouse. I found some other jewelry they had given, me, so precious.  I have put these all in a very safe place because they are priceless.  $$  I love you both!  I am kind of anxious to see what else I find.  I also have one BIG bag ready to take to Goodwill, and took one big bag of trash out, this was just my side of the closet.  Next I want to tackle the closet in our guest bedroom, that is truly a catch all, that will be scary.  Why do I save all of this SHIT!!!

For the second day in a row, I made the eggs for lunch,IMG_2650 but today I used left over Brussel Sprouts, jerky,IMG_2649.jpg spinach and cheese.  I also added some chopped apple.  It is amazing how good, satisfying and easy this is.  This might be my lunch of choice all week.

One of the MANY drugs I take, and have taken for over three years now, is Celebrex.  (I like to google everything and diagnose myself) I have been having this pain in my chest, under my boobs, in my rid cage area and back.  In googling, I have learned that one of the long term side affects of Celebrex is chest pain, shortness of breath, back pain and rib pain.  I am not 100% sure this is what is causing this discomfort, but since I am out of Celebrex anyway, I am going to stop taking it for one month and see if it makes a difference.  Hopefully, it will.

It seems my fatigue is a little better, if I can eliminate a little of this pain, it would be so good!  Has anyone been on Celebrex and if yes, have you experienced these side affects?  Let me know.

You know, I am really ready for sunny skies.  How about you?  When it is cloudy like it have been for the last several days, my energy level is ZERO!!!! I always tell people, I am solar powered, and I need SUN!!  ☀️  Here is my sun for you today.

Well all you sweet people out there, I need to get back to work and cleaning.  I do have some things I am getting rid of, does anyone need walking boots or walking shoes to wear after foot surgery?  Let me know, I have two boots and one shoe.

AnyWho!  back to work for me.  Come back tomorrow and I will have more tidbits for you.

Remember, to hydrate, drink lots of water, be active, get up and move, be happy, keep a smile on your face, and live life like there is no tomorrow, since tomorrow is a promise to no one.

xoxoxo till next time!
