I hope all had a good weekend! Mine was awesome! The weather was finally dry, and we had some sun☀️ on Sunday. How great was that. Needless to say, we kept quite busy and I am exhausted today. It might be the weather also, again, another cloudy, misty dreary day. I know the weather affects my RA drastically. (Not too mention I am solar powered, so no sun, no power!)
Ok, enough whining on my part. Oh, and lets all take a drink of water!
MH likes to try new brunch places on weekends, so this weekend we went to Beetlecat. And I am sorry, I am so bad about remembering to take pictures. I should have because the food looked awesome, like it tasted. This is actually an Oyster Bar, but on weekends they have a Donut Brunch. Yes, I did say Donut. Now, we all know I do not eat Gluten, but I can normally find something to eat. MH had donuts, the server explained that the donuts were like the “appetizer” and then they had the “entrees”. I ordered the burger, which was served on a donut, (of course, I did not eat the donut, but the burger had cheddar cheese and bacon jam, AWESOME!!!!!) They did have other foods I could have easily eaten, eggs, bacon, fruit, hash browns and salads. If you live in the Atlanta. Inman Park area, I would suggest trying this!
Yesterday, we did a lot. One of the things we we did, we also went to the range, which we haven’t done for some time, and believe me, my hands and shoulders felt it today. I was really happy with my grouping. No worries, this girl can take care of herself, when properly armed! I do need a little more practice. Weather permitting, we are going to the outdoor range next weekend! I love shooting outside!

Even though I slept like 💩 last night, I had energy on our jalk. It was just Mr G and myself, and I actually jogged for a while. For me, that is awesome, I haven’t felt like that for a long time! Good things are just over the horizon!😍 I got an ok lift in, but I think that because I did not sleep well, I just wasn’t feeling it lifting, tomorrow will be a better day.

Speaking of Paleomg, I am listening to her latest Podcast now. I listened to several others over the weekend. I like to listen to podcasts that are not SO health and fitness related, because I will admit, I get very anal about my weight, being healthy, exercise, and food. I am working on more just being. I do track my calories and watch my macros, but I am not being so strict about it any longer. I truly think, that if you just eat intuitively, and are more layback about it, you will be just as good off.
Now, exercise, may be another story. I REALLY believe that you need to be active, and every day. No, you do not need to run a marathon every week, but we all need to be active, get up and move, do something, don’t sit on your big fanny all day long. Plus, I feel SO much better if I am active. I do try to take Sunday to be more of a active rest day. We walk in the morning, weather permitting, after that, the only things I do are if we have errands to do, or if we go to the hot tub and pool. Plus, I think that as we age, it is really important to start active. Thoughts on this?
We finished watching Longmire on Netflix, and have now started Strange Empire. I think there is only one season of this, and we are on episode 8 already, This is a good series, not near as good as Longmire, but it does keep you interested. Does anyone have any suggestions for more series to check out? Please share with me.
Have you been watching the Olympics? We try to watch, but for some reason, they just seem kind of boring. I did like watching both the mens and women’s halfpipe, but after that, not so interesting. What do you guys think?

I have a question for you. Do any of you work from home? If yes, how do you stay motivated? Most days, I am fine, but then there are days, like today, that I am moving in SLOW MOTION! I seem to have no motivation, my concentration level is a BIG ZERO!, and my mind is all over the place. I try to get up and do something else for a few minutes, maybe go out and get a quick coffee, sometime, I take it out on poor Mr G and he and I go for a quick walk. I make lists, I make time frames that from here to here I need to do this, but there are still days. Any ideas, please share.
One of the things I do EVERY DAY, after I walk/jog, and lift weights, I shower, do my hair, makeup and always jewelry, then make breakfast. I have tried not showering right away, but that just does not work. If I do not shower, I am not ready to work!
