Is Spring on the way?

Hello Again and Thanks for coming back!

Let’s talk about Strange Empire/Netflix.  This is becoming very addictive.  I watched some more last evening, and I was quite sure we were going to finish Season 1.  We are up to Epsiode 14 now, and it is still going.  How many episodes are there?  Not that I want to finish this, because I think there is only one Season, but this is getting SO GOOD!  Have any of you watched this?  How many episodes are there?  And after this is over, what are some other series that you have watched?

OK, now let’s talk about skin.  I am always trying things to improve my skin. I have a closet of lotions and potions!  I try to keep my skin very well hydrated or moisturized, I am anal about making sure my lotions have sunscreen in them, and I am always trying to find some thing to get rid of wrinkles and fine lines.  What are some of the creams, lotions or things that others use for this.  I have heard that Retin A is very good for skin, fine lines, wrinkles, since it basically breaks down the skin and builds new skin and collagen.  Have you tried it, and if so, have you had success with this?  I do not want to try injections, like botox, I just do not want to put that type of stuff in my body, and plus, I do enough needles, I don’t want to do any more.  Let me know what you have tried and what might work.

I got a pretty good work out in this morning.  (I slept much better last evening and therefore, have more energy today)  I feel like I am finally able to lift a little more, I am increasing the weights as much as I can every week.  And bonus, for the last six days, I IMG_2666

closed all three rings on my watch.  This is an accomplishment for me since I have my active calories set higher, or at least for me.  I might have to increase those if I keep closing the rings.  It is also easier to close the rings since MH has been walking with me in the mornings, and I think we walk just a little further, then when I am alone.  All Good!

Let’s talk Sodium.  I know this is not a problem for MOST people, but this has been an ongoing problem for me for several years.  I have low sodium.  Yes, I do drink a lot of water, but, I rarely sweat.  It takes a LOT for me to break a sweat, unlike other members of my family.  I just got my last bloodwork results back, and again, my sodium is low.  I had been drinking bone broth every day, but I got out of the habit because I drink so many things.  I guess I will have to start this up again.  Any body else out there with this issue, and if yes, what do you do?  On  a better note, the rest of my bloodwork was outstanding!  My IGG levels are up slightly, a BIG improvement for me!  Woo Hoo!!!

I mentioned I drink so many different things.  I haven’t made green tea for some time, and this sounded really good today, so I made a pot of green tea!IMG_2668.jpg  I tend to forget how much I enjoy this and it tasted good!.  I also drink Kombucha every day, I think this is a good thing to drink every day as well.  What are some of the things you drink?

I am seriously hooked on several podcasts.  I started listening to a new one, MeatHead Hippie.  I listened to her some time ago, and just hadn’t listened to one for a long time.  I have started back up and if you have not checked her out, you should.  Listen to one or two and let me know what you think.
