Rainy Days and Mondays
Hello out there!
Here I am again, isn’t there a song that goes something like rainy days and Mondays always get me down? We NOT today, I feel good and other than I had workers in the condo all morning, I am getting a lot done. When MH travels, I always have a very long list of things to get done. I don’t think that I really even made a dent in that list yet.
My poor baby Mr. G, apparently, his tummy is a bit upset today, he has not eaten yet, and he is laying behind my desk, and his stomach is growling SO LOUD!!! It is either the weather, (we are actually supposed to get tornados this afternoon) or he misses MH, or, he just isn’t feeling up to par. He did on a really good jalk with me this morning. We got lucky and got in and out before the rain hit. (Luck was on our side) After that I did go out to the gym again and tomorrow I have my personal training session. I know and remember, I will let you know how the body analysis goes.😣
I made an excellent dinner last night. This was a salmon burger, green beans, a potato, radish and olives. The salmon burger was great. Glad I made an extra one for dinner tonight. Plus, this was really high in protein.
Another find from Whole Foods from yesterday, Pickled Radish. I pretty much like anything that is pickled. Some time ago we made pickled beets, carrots, onions and radish. It turned out so good, we need to make some again.
I mentioned yesterday about the pollen, and how soon it would be the Yellow Pollen time of year. On my walk last evening, I checked out the Pine Trees, and it definitely will not be long now. BUT, if we get the rain and wind they are talking about, that will help to clear up some of this already.
I got a few suggestions on Podcasts, but I could really use some more. Remember to e-mail me, or leave a comment below with your favorites.
I also got some good positive feedback on the Seven Day Challenge, so again, if you might have an interest in this, please let me know. I want to start this as soon as I can.
I haven’t tried the New Paleo Almond Bread I bought, I thought about having some for lunch today, but just wasn’t that hungry. I think I will have some tonight with my Salmon Burger, that sounds pretty good, doesn’t it?
I am going to tell you all a story that will make you laugh, or maybe gag, it is kind of disgusting. One of the podcasts I listen to, they talked about shaving your face. Now, I would have never thought of this because, well, to be honest, I do not have facial hair. However, during the podcast, they talked about how they will shave their face once in a while to get rid of the dead top layer of skin. I have been using a new night cream that is supposed to rid your face of that dead skin, and some mornings, I get up and my face is very dry and scaly. So, I thought I would try this, shaving the dead skin off my face. DISGUSTING!!! I started with a brand new razor. When I finished, I banged the razor on the side of my sink and OMG, the dead skin that this removed was unbelievable. Don’t know that I could tell a difference looking at my face, but it did feel very tight and clean. Have any of you ever tried this?
Which leads me to my next topic. I have heard and read a lot about the TULA face care products. I am thinking of trying their Anti Aging Discovery Kit. ( I am kind of to the point with my skin, I will try anything once) Have any of you tried the TULA products? Or what products do you use, both on your face and your body.
Well gang, I know this is a little shorter, but I need to get more work done so I can reorganize my closet since they are finished in their now. (This is actually one of my projects to get done anyway)
Looking forward to your comments and questions, and tomorrow, I will let you know how the “trainer session” goes.
I am open for comments, suggestions, criticisms, any and all feedback. Please send to
