Well, Day 2 and I am back. I think that making myself accountable to everyone out there who does read this blog, it will motivate me to stick to my 30 day plan. Maybe I can improve my own health and help just one other person.
Oh, I forgot to tell you about the cupping I had done. We have a regular masseuse that comes to our building every 3-4 weeks. I had asked if they could do cupping, and yes, they could. My last massage I had this done. I thought this was an entire process, but it only took about 15 minutes, but I only had my shoulders and back done. This is what it looked like with the cups on. I know, it is kind of disgusting, but the end result was like magic. This is what my back looked like after
The relief is temporary, about 24-36 hours for me, but those hours were great.
Okay, now to share what I ate and did yesterday. I am not going to break each meal down, how much of everything, for food, I am just listing in general what I ate. The time may come when I get more detailed, but for now, just generalizations. I am going to do the same for my work outs.
The foods I ate on Thursday, Day 1
Grass Fed Butter
Hamburger, (meat only,no bun)
2 Coffees with Stevia and no fat milk
Mixed Salted Nuts
1 Bottle of Kombucha
I may have missed something, but that is most of it
For my work out yesterday I did
Dumb Bell Dead Lift
Run in Place
Sprints (I try to do one sprint down the hall and back between each exercise, this gets my heart rate up)
After this I did about 5 minutes of good stretching
I walk about 8-10 miles a day, depending on the weather. My goal is to be able to JOG one full mile at the end of 30 days.
Okay, that is about everything I ate and did yesterday, I slept last night like a ROCK, and I do mean rock. That was one of the best nights sleep I have had for a long time. I woke up refreshed and so far today, it is 2:30, I still have lots of energy.
As for my pain level today,on a scale of 1-10, I’d say a 6. It might have been better, but I got a burst of energy this morning, and needed a break from my desk, so we just got a Wine Chiller and it needed to be unpack/unboxed and set up, so I took it upon myself to do this, because I am Super Woman. It was a little heavier than I thought, but once I started, what the hell.
I am also implementing a be kind to Tamie routine. Sometimes, I think maybe I am too hard on myself, so this morning, starting another new ritual, as I was putting all of the lotions and potions all over, I looked in the mirror and said to myself, Good Morning Tamie, you look great today. You are going to have an AWESOME day! (No more pity parties for me, sorry MD, I kind of got on my soap box this morning, but you are always there to listen, you are the best)
So, that was Day 1 in a nutshell. I am still working on the number of calories I should have per day, but maybe, just maybe, I need to concentrate more on the quality of the food I eat, and less on the caloric issues. What do you all think.
Well Kiddos, I think this will do to for now. Again, please send me any thoughts or suggestions you may have, recipes, (I am always interested in good recipes and am still looking for some good Fat Bomb Recipes)
Remember to hydrate, drink lots, get up and move, be active, keep a smile on your face, be happy, and get out and enjoy the SUNSHINE. Life is short, live hard!
