Day 8, 22 to go!

 

Hello Again, Day 8 and still here  YAY!!!  So many things, so little time.  I hope everyone is having a good day!

First, I want to share a couple of things I found and am so excited.  I used to use Vitamin E Oil and Coco Butter all of the time.  I some how got out of that habit, and recently, decided I should try these again.  (My skin has been unbeleivably dry recently.  Maybe it is due to the weather, maybe it is one of my meds, but it is crazy.  Plus, I am really fighting fine lines and wrinkle with a vengance)

So,first I found this Vitamin E Oil. It says it is actually for hair, but Vitamin E Oil is Vitamin E Oil, you can use it anywhere.  I started last night using this on my face, hands and elbows.  It is oily, but in my opinion, it is a great moisturizer.

It has a great smell, lathers up nicely, and feels really good on my skin.  And, bonus, it is all natural.  I think I got both of these at Target, sometimes, if you just scan the shelves at stores, you find the most random things.  If you have never tried the Vitamin E Oil, give it a try.  If you have new scars, it works miracles on scars.

G and I got pretty good walk/jog in this morning, but for some reason, he wanted to stop and smell every other leave.  I finally headed over to the parking lot, were there were no leaves or grass to smell.  This was our walkWanted to get 3 miles in, but miscalculated.

My workout today was pretty fast paced, I was working on getting my heart rate up and burning cals. I wanted to hit a little over 300 cal, tomorrow I WILL!

But today, for the food I have ate or will eat:

Bibb Lettuce

Olives

Chicken Liver

Yogurt

Collagen Peptide

Nestles Coffee Creamer

Again that looks like a LOT of food I think tomorrow I will start posting the macros for each day as well.

My work out today was:

Bent Over Row

Dumb Bell Dead Lift

Jumping Jacks

Bar Back Row

Leg Press

Running in Place

Chest Press

Abs

Dips

Leg Kicks

Kettle Bell Abs

I did a few sprints today

I also do 5-7 minutes of stretching when I am done each day.

I started the day feeling pretty good, it took me a few minutes to wake up today, and once I did wake up, I felt pretty good.  I think the trick to my eating,  ( after watching carefully for 8 days, and prior) is if I stay away from too much sugar, I do better.  I really do not think it is the Gluten nor the wheat so much as the sugar.  Other then the small portions Rice Krispie Bar, I have been good about not eating too much sugar.  For example, yesterday, I had 72 grams of sugar, which is more that I feel I should have, but lower then most day.s  I was a little low on protein yesterday, I try to get 100+grams every day, yesterday I only had 96 grams.  I watch this very closely, because like I said, I think it is the sugar more than anything that affects my inflammation.  I also noted that I need more fat, (grass fed butter, olive oil, coconut oil, ghee, )  Which reminds me, I think I need to make another batch of Fat Bombs.

My pain level today I would say is a 5, I am feeling pretty good.

Well doodle bugs, until I can get this blog to generate income, and maybe a podcast, I have to get back to my real job.

Remember to hydrate, drink lots, get up and move, be active, keep a smile on your face, be happy, and get out and enjoy the SUNSHINE, when it quits raining.  Life is short, live hard!
