Day 19, Almost There!
Well Hello Again. Did everyone have a good weekend? I did! The weather was good, I ate some pretty good, kind of healthy food, I got to the gym and swam and got to sit in the hot tub for awhile, and we got out on our motorcycles.
I told you I would try to take a picture of my motorcycle, well this is it. She is old, but she still looks great and rides good. The sky looks a little gloomy, but the weather, and the the temperature was just right! What do you think of my motorcycle?
We decided to stop and have lunch while we were out, and decided on Mexican. We have kind of been on this Mexican food kick lately. Well, where we were, you had choices of several very authentic Mexican restaurants. We picked one off the beaten path, and the food was FANTASTIC! I had the Tamales, I never had these and wanted to try them, I was not particularly found of the corn outside, but the meat filling and beans and rice were great! MH had the enchiladas,
and he was very happy with these. I am not sure how healthy this was, but it tasted good. After this, we made a few stops and headed back in. What a DAY!
Speaking of healthy, since I am on this journey to learn what works for me and what does not, on Sunday I had some fried foods, (hash browns fried in something) and I think I have come to the conclusion that fried foods just don’t work for me. My stomach was not feeling so good after this, and it even felt as though my chest and back hurt more? Has anyone else experienced this? Let me know.
Back to sharing my workout for today. Today I did get a good work out in, since my walk was a little slow, Mr G just did not have the get up and go, and he kept wanting to stop, just stop. But below is the work out I did today: ( There is an old saying that says if you want a different outcome, change what you are doing, so I am really trying to mix up my work outs)
Goblet Squats
Chest Press
Bent Over Row
Jumping Jacks
Back Lunges
Overhead Press
Run in place
Plank
Bench Step up ( I did a lot of these)
Bench Push up
Bench Leg Lift (I did a lot of these as well)
Weighted Abs
I really had a good heart rate going and felt pretty good afterward
(For those readers that might have RA, or other joint/muscle diseases, do your feet ever just heart for no reason)
Anyway, I am not going to list all of the food I ate over the weekend, but today I have ate or will eat the below:
Collagen Peptides
Coconut Oil
Hard Boiled Egg
Udis’ Omega Flax and Fiber Bread (1 slice)
Garden of Life Protein Powder
Cashew Super Butter
Yogurt
Chicken Thigh
Beef Tenderloin
Kombucha
White Bean Chips
Cucumber
Watermelon
Non Fat Matcha Grean Tea Latte
Corn on the Cob
Chicken Tenders
Coleslaw
1/2 Apple
Ginger and Turmeric Tea
(Damn, that looks like a lot of food)
My calories on Friday were1598
56 grams of protein (really bad)
47 grams of carbs
23 grams of fat
Today already, I have 58 grams of protein, much better today.
And lots and lots of water.
(I have a question on the Collagen Peptides. Do any of you use Dr. Axe Collagen? I have been thinking of trying this, but it is a little pricey, and I want to know if this is worth it or not. If you have tried this, please let me know)
I have been sleeping pretty good, but it could be better. I would say my pain level today is 6 and my energy level is 7. How are you all doing. Share with us!
I have seen that I have some readers from Russia. I would really like to hear some comments fromm you, and maybe some pictures. If you prefer, you can send private e-mails to me at
You can also send me your pics there if you want, and just let me know which ones I can share.
And all of you that have shared comments, please keep them coming and keep on reading. Feel free to share this blog with your friends, or anyone that you feel may benefit from this.
I told you on Friday that I was feeling a little glittery, and I showed you the picture of the purple color hair spray I got. WELL!, we went out for dinner on Friday night, and I thought that I would try this. I am taking this back, it felt like glue on your hair. It looked okay, but unless you wash your hair right away, you could not comb it, you could barely move it, I was afraid it was just going to break!!!! Not using that again! Have any of you used a temporary hair color, and if yes did it work?
The tula skin care products that I got, so far, I really like this. I can’t see any difference on my face yet, but they leave your face feeling silky soft and they have a really god smell to them.
Well all, thank you again for reading and coming back but time to get back to
SOOO check back tomorrow for another day in the life of Tamie.
Remember to drink lots, keep hydrated, get up and move, be active, keep a smile😎 on your face, be happy, and get out and do something. You need that vitamin D.
