Ok, now to stay on my schedule, I will share with you some of the exercises I do or have done in the past, and some of the other little “tricks” I do.
Everyday, unless it is a torrential down pour, I walk/jog every day. The minimum is 3 miles, but some days it is 5 miles or more. Also, depending on if hubs walks or not, the pace varies. But I do this EVERYDAY!
Monday thru Friday, and sometimes on weekends, I lift weights. I really try to mix this up. We all get into ruts, and this is where works really well.

They also have some really great stretching routines on the ap.
Some of my favorite exercises are:
Bench Press
Leg Press
Jumping Jacks
Run in Place
Squats
Rope Tri Pull Downs
Lat Pull Down
Kettle Bell Abs
Leg Circle and Arm Circles
Hip Thrusts
Pistol Lunges (these are really hard)
Here are a few pics of myself doing different exercises:
I normally will make a plan or routine for five days, and then repeat that for 2-3 weeks. After that time, I will switch up again. If I run out of ideas, I will check the AAptiv app and see what I feel like.
I will try to get through 3-4 sets of each exercise for that day, and I start with 12 reps, with a lighter weight, and then decrease the reps, but increase the weight. I like to do the Jumping Jacks, or Run in place, in between each exercise. I will also do sprints up and down the hall in between sets. I like to keep my heart rate elevated.
If you have any questions on these exercises, send me a message at
Some of the things I TRY to do to keep my body going all day:
I set the timer on my phone for 35 minutes. Every time it goes off, I get up and move, I do something. Sometimes, I will simply to 10 squats, sometimes I will run up 2-3 flights of steps and then back down, sometimes I will do my hula hoop for 5 minutes. Whatever it is, I try to MOVE. Sometimes I am too much into my work and just reset the timer, but I REALLY try NOT to do that. I will also take a drink every time the timer goes off.
Yes, I do track MOST of what I eat, I like to keep track of my macros. I sometime tend to not eat enough protein, so I like to watch how I am doing throughout the day.
At the end of each day, part of my evening ritual is to stretch. Again, this is where the AAptiv app comes in really handy, they have some really good stretching programs on the app.
Well peoples, I think I have covered most everything I can think of. Remember, if you do have questions, please send me an e-mail or leave a comment:
Remember, check back tomorrow when I will post about products I am trying/using, and if I like them or not.
But for now
Remember to hydrate, let’s all take a drink now, get up and move, let’s all get up and do 10 squats now, be happy, keep a smile on your face, and come back tomorrow for more.
Take care
