Well HELLOO MONDAY! Did everyone have a good weekend? I for sure did! The weather was almost perfect! We got a lot of good walking in, got a lot of errands done and a little extra work done, got to watch football, and Holy CRAP!!! The Falcons won! What a game! I do hope this was just the first of many wins!
I am trying to implement a new plan of attack for my business and my blog, and just to get things done in general. Everyday I make a list of things I need to do and get done that day. I normally do not even look at the list until after lunch, and than I go back and decide what I HAVE to get done, what I have already done, and what can wait, until I get around to it.
Well, today, I started at the top of the list, and I do that task, and then I can cross it off and go on to the next. Will this work, I don’t know but I am going to give it try. I have committed to do this EVERY day this week, at least, and see how it works. What are your secrets to getting everything you need to do that day done? Let me know.
Who got their work out in today? Whether that be a good walk, a run, yoga, cross fit or weight lifting, just let me know. What is your favorite form of exercise? I did do my work out this morning, after G and I got a pretty good walk in. Monday’s is always my busiest day of the week. I try to get all of my customer correspondence done first, than my overseas correspondence, than any pricing I need to do, errands I need to run, and get the condo picked up from the weekend. That is just to start. So, Monday’s my walk is just a little shorter, but my lifting is a little longer since I do not lift over the weekend. (I am such a creature of habit)
I haven’t talked about my RA or my CVID recently, because, honestly, I have been feeling pretty good. I do feel pretty certain this is due to the fact that we have been eating really well, I have been getting a lot of good walking in, and in addition, the Organifi Gold Juice I take at night has turmeric and ginger in it, which is supposed to be really good for inflammation. The only prescription drug I am currently taking for my RA is the Enbrel, and that will be an ongoing life time thing, unless we change to a different biologic, and for my CVID, I will be on these weekly infusions forever, that is something I have accepted. So, I am feeling pretty good about everything.
But this reminds, have not got your flu shot yet, please do. I know many of you do not get your flu shots, but to me, this is a no brainer. Why risk getting the flu, if a simple shot will prevent that???? Easy Peasy!
And, how many of you use hand sanitizer. Ok, I have to admit, I used to be completely against hand sanitizer. I would never use this, just wash your hands, right? Well, not any more. I have hand sanitizer everywhere. In my purse, on my desk, on my kitchen counter! Since I have learned I have no immune system, I am extra careful about any kind of germ. And for God’s sake, do not rub your eyes. That is one of the best places to transfer germs to your body! Don’t misunderstand, I wash my hands MORE now than I ever have, but when I can’t wash my hands, I use the hand sanitizer. I actually found some at Bath and Body that smells really good and works well.
Speaking of smelling good. I talked about how I bought this new perfume because a woman at Starbucks was wearing it and it smelled so good. Well, I really like the smell, but after about half an hour, you can’t smell it on me any longer. (I have always had problems with scents lasting on me, for some reason, I am one of those people) Do you have this problem and if so, how do you get your scent to last? Please let me know.
Anyway, I found some small samples of Tom Ford perfume. One is call
which is a little strong when it is first on, but it does last and once it lightens a little, has a very nice smell. This does last a little longer. The other is
This smells somewhat like tobacco when you first apply it, but it settles into a nice soft scent. I am testing these, first, to see if I like it, than I always like to see if the hubs likes the, because he has the super sense of smell and is very sensitive to many things.
I said on Friday that I was feeling a little Halloweenish and glittery and was doing my nails for Halloween. Well, scratch that idea. I touched them up Friday night, and by Sunday the polish was chipping already. (I went through all of my polish today and got rid of a bunch that was OLD) I did not realize how old the polish was that I had used, and it needed to go. Can you believe that I am down to only about a dozen bottles of polish? I did look at polish last week, but for some reason, it seems I have all of the colors out there. I think I need to make trip to Sephora or Ulta and take a serious look. There are a few other things I need anyway, so I might as well just go, right?
Well Kidz, that time, I got to go, need to get back to that thing I call ATW and my business, again, until I get this blog to make money. (Help support this blog)
Question for you readers regarding the links and discount codes. Is it easier for you to have these all in one post, or would it be easier to have access to these on a sidebar? I am still learning what works best, but would like your opinion. Just send me an e-mail to
and let me know which you prefer, I plan on doing some work to my website soon.
