Happy Sunny Monday! How was your weekend? Did you get some good football watched? I thought that it was GREAT that both games went into overtime. That is the way the games should be when they are the play offs. I was really hoping that KC would win, no particular reason, but they are such a young team, I thought that would be pretty cool! Anyway, we now know who will be playing in the Super Bowl!
Speaking of Super Bowl. I am not sure that I told you I bought the hubs and me tickets to the Super Bowl Experience. I really am not sure what this is going to be, but we decided this might be a one time chance to do something like this, so I bought tickets. We are actually going next Saturday, I thought that would be the least crowded day. I received an e-mail on it today, and I think there is going to be a lot of things on display, like the Lombardi trophy, past Super Bowl Rings, and I know that you can get some autographs. There is also a lot of interactive things. Not really sure what to expect, but it should be fun. I do plan on taking some pictures and I will share those with you. It should be fun.
Our weekend was Very Quiet, actually, a little boring. Saturday we went out and got all of our shopping done, and we were going to go back out to the mall, but it was raining, windy, dreary so we decided to stay in. The hubs made a roast, that smelled awesome as he was baking it. We had that about mid day with Air Fry roasted potatoes. I think I ate too much because I just wasn’t feeling up to par the rest of the day, but then, I really did not feel that great Sunday either. I hate to sound like a whiny beeiitch but I am beginning to think I have food allergies, including gluten intolerance. I was a little carefree with eating things while we were on our holiday in Barcelona, and even when I got back, I thought it had not bothered me in Barcelona, but after eating some bread and a pretzel, and some other things when we got back, my stomach hasn’t been feeling that great, and digestive system does not seem to be working properly. I quit eaten any gluten again, but I have been eating a lot of cheese, butter and yogurt. I am now beginning to wonder if I am lactose intolerant because it seemed after eating yogurt for breakfast yesterday, I just did not feel great all day. And my stomach was very BLOATED!!!! Have any of you had food sensitivity testing? And if so, do you feel the results were accurate? And one more question, was this covered by your insurance? I have so many questions on this because for a long time, I really felt that food sensitivity was all in my head, but now, I am beginning to wonder???
Since there was no football on Saturday, and we were pretty much bored out of our minds, we went to Netflix and found a new series to binge watch. Unfortunately, there was only one series and we finished the entire first season on Saturday. The name of the series was Tideland. Have you watched this? This was a really good series, and it was one of those series that you had to watch, you could not play games on your phone and do something else, you really had to pay attention. How many of you went to the Skinny dipped web site and checked out their products? Did you order any? I have not yet ordered the samples packs, I am waiting to make sure I get enough so that I can send you readers sample bags. Even with the cold weather, (I am not sure what the weather is like where you are) but yesterday and today were both very cold walking in the morning. But, we got out and did our shorter 2 mile walk. But, I am switching things up this week. Instead of lifting, and yes, I know the Dr. said if I want to gain muscle, I have to LIFY HEAVY. Well, I will get back to that, but instead of doing any lifting this week, I am going to my Jalking on the treadmill after our out door walk. I started this morning, and my first mile was at a pace of 13.17 mile. Again, I know, many of you are laughing at that, but for me, it is a good time. I did a total of 1.51 miles in 20 minutes. Tomorrow, I am going for a 13.10 minute mile and a total of 1.75 miles in 20 minutes. I feel if I do a little faster every day, eventually, I will have a good time. Plus, it just feels good for a change!
The other thing I have started today, mainly because I was out of body lotion, was bought and started using the Ceravue Lotion the Dr recommended for better skin. I will try the entire bottle, and then let you know what I think. Have any of you tried this?
