What a morning.  My intention was to get this post out EARLY today, but it is already almost one in the afternoon.  WOW, where did the time go!  Because the Chinese New Year has started, I thought it would be a really quiet day.  But, everything I got in was good, so all is good.  I have everything caught up for now, so now I can work on this.

We were lucky this morning and got our walk in BEFORE the rain hit.  We were just about to Starbucks for our coffee, and it started to POUR, so we went to our second choice of coffee places.  That way, we did not have to walk to far in the rain to get home, if the rain did pick up.  And, it was almost 50 degrees when we walked, that was really nice for a change.

I had a good work out all planned out for this morning, but when I got to the gym, I really felt more like jogging than lifting, so that is what I did.  I did one mile on the treadmill, and then did a really quick 10 minute lift.  I felt that way, I was covering all of my bases.  My time for the mile was not bad, for me.  I took a picture of the results, so you could see. IMG_0315 And bonus, the hubs just said he wants to try to get our second walk in later this afternoon!  YAY!!!  I love those afternoon walks.

I want to share what I made for dinner last night.  I made this Rack of Lamb. IMG_0314 I somehow managed to bake it just perfect, I even had the hubs impressed.

I had mentioned last week that I had found a recipe for Overnight Oats that I was going to try.  Well, I did try this and it was REALLY good, BUT, I neglected to take pictures.  I am going to make another batch today and I will be sure to take a picture.  This was REALLY good!  I will also share the recipe tomorrow. And, it made breakfast quick, easy, healthy and DELICIOUS!

I said last week that I was going to start to post my daily workout and my macros, caloric intake and caloric burn again, simply because it does make me more accountable.  Well here goes.

I already told you my work out today, I am not going to list the couple of lifts I did, tomorrow I will go into all details, and you have seen the time I did on the treadmill.

My caloric intake yesterday was a LOT,  1831 total calories.  My total caloric  burn was 1893 calories.  My Macros were

As you can see, I had a lot of carbs and not much protein???  I really need to up my protein today.  I am just eating lunch and already today I have 57 grams of  protein.  I also noted on my health app on my phone that I had 46 grams of fiber.  I am working to increase this, maybe that will help my digestive issues.  The recommended amount of daily fiber is only 25 grams, I think that is REALLY low.  My total H2O intake yesterday was 80 oz.  I am really trying today to get in 100 oz.  How are you doing?  Please feel free to share.  I just read an article on Tom Brady, and the diet he follows, and how he drinks something like 27 glasses of water a day.  That is HUGE.  But then, if you work out like him, you probably need to keep really well hydrated.

We watched a new movie on Netflix over the weekend.  The movie was Polar.  Have you seen it?  It was advertised as one of the goriest movies ever.  Well, I am not sure it was that bad, but it was a GREAT movie.  It was one of those movies that you could not stop watching, and you had to pay close attention so you did not miss anything.  If you have Netflix, and are looking for something to watch, I highly recommend this.

We also found a series we are binge watching now on Netflix.  The series is Paranoid.  We just started this last night, and our four episodes into it.  It is not the best we have watched on Netflix, but it is good.  Again, if you are looking for something to watch, I do recommend this as well.  If you have watched any good series on Netflix or Amazon Prime recently, please share with me.  Send this to

Have you heard of or tried Legendary Foods Peanut Butter?  I have seen this FB, I think, and their Peanut Butters sound really good.  They offer no sugar added nut butters that contain ingredients only found in nature. These nut butter superfoods are packed full of nutrients, healthy fats, and an excellent source of protein. Their flavored nut butters contain no artificial flavors and are low in carbs. Legendary Food’s no sugar added nut butters are great for paleo diets, low carb diets, and an overall healthy lifestyle.  I am going to contact them today to see if they offer an affiliate program.  I am also ordering some sample packs today.  If they do offer an affiliate program, as soon as they do get back to me, I will share with you and all of the details.  Also, once I get the samples I order, and we try them, (it was actually the hubs that saw these and wants to try)  I will give you are feedback.  Let me know if you have heard of them.
