Friday, YAY!  For some reason, this has just been the busiest craziest week in a long time.  No sure why, but it’s Friday, the weekend is almost here, we have plans for the weekend, so all is good!  So let’s get on with it, should we?

First, did you give yourself your positive words today?  It can really be so simple, like “You Are Awesome”  or “You Got this Girl”, or just tell yourself your day is going to be GREAT!  Everyday, get into this habit.  And if you keep a smile on your face, you will have to have a good day.

My Heart Health Motivation for the day is:

After our walk this morning, which was really very nice, the weather was pretty good, but we did sit and chat with our friends just a little too long.  (Now I am scrambling to get things caught up again)  When I got to the gym, I did not feel like lifting, but I really did feel like the treadmill, so I got on the treadmill and set the calorie goal at 100.  I did a 13 minute mile again.  I MAY try all next week to get on the treadmill and not lift and see if I get get a 12 minute mile.  That might be my challenge for myself next week.  Anyone with me?  Anyway, this is how I finished on the treadmillIMG_0406  I felt pretty good about this.

My caloric intake yesterday was 1341 calories and my caloric burn was Image-  Again, pretty consistent.  My Macros wereImage-33  Again, pretty consistent, I really need to work on reducing my carbs and increasing my protein.  My nutrients were

As you can see,  I took in a lot of sodium yesterday, hopefully, this will help????  Good on the sugar and not too bad on the carbs.  Just keep on trying!

I tried my Ned Hemp Oil last night.  Right before I went to bed, I put the recommended dosage under my tongue and held it as long as I could.  I am not sure if it was the hemp oil, or what, but I did sleep great last night.  And, unlike some “sleep aids” I take, I did not feel lethargic this morning and I had/still have, a lot of energy.  Not sure if it is all due to the   CBD oil, but I will continue to use this, or at least the entire bottle and see how I feel after that.  I started with the lightest concentration

I have told you all how I have been doing a Water Challenge this week, and I have been loving this challenge.  It has really made be conscious about the amount of water I do drink,  and part of this challenge is the exercises they have you do every day.  Everything you do is half of your body weight, this is for the number of oz of water you drink, as well as the number of reps you do on the exercises they give you for that day.  Yesterday was bicep curls and tricep kick backs.  Today it is front lunges.  I have done my total weight in all of the exercises for the week, (I am not quite done with all of my front lunges yet, I do these in sets of 15)  which works really well.

They are having a 30 day Boot Camp that starts on Monday.  It is an entire program that also involves using one Shakeology Shake per day.  I would really like to try this, but I ran it by my doctor who said for now, no.  So you ask, why did you run this by your doctor?

Well, this is what is going on now.  My sodium levels are very low, (the lowest they have been yet) and my liver enzymes are HIGHLY elevated.  I have told you all that I take several supplements, and my doctor has told me, for now, to quit taking all supplements, even the Organifi Gold Juice that I take in the evening, until I have the Hepatic Ultrasound done that he has ordered.  ( I did schedule this today).  He also does not want me to do anything until I see my rheumatologist again, which is in a week and half, and after all this, we can readdress everything.  The funny thing about all this is that I really feel pretty good!  So what the heck is going on?

At any rate, I have quit taking all supplements, (except the CBD Hemp Oil) and I was really concerned about the Gold Juice.  I thought I would sleep like crap because I was not taking the Gold Juice, but maybe it was the CBD Oil, I did sleep good.  He also told me to cut my water intake in half, or, at least to drink less PLAIN water.  I can drink coffee, tea, electrolytes added to my water.  (I did not tell him I was doing this water challenge, but today is the last day anyway, and yesterday and today I have been adding sea salt to my water) and have been drinking more coffee! And, he said to ADD salt to my food.  This is something I have a really hard time doing, it is just not a habit I am in and I would rather add seasoning and not salt.  He also said I could keep taking the Citracil, and keep exercising as this will help everything.!!!  Well, I certainly wasn’t going to quit exercising, silly goose!

Ok, enough of that!  I mentioned we were going out for dinner tomorrow, Saturday, evening to a newish chop house here in the city.  I will TRY to remember to take pictures, and share with you all on Monday.  I will let you all know what I think of the restaurant on Monday, so come back to see how it was.
