“Failure Will Never Overtake Me If My Determination To Succeed Is Strong Enough.”
Well Hello all you loyal people! I appreciate you coming back day after day, and thanks for the e-mails you have sent. I appreciate the feedback.
Our luck did not hold out today, it was raining when I got up, so the hubs didn’t walk with G and myself, but we did end up getting about 1.5 miles in. (The rain has stopped, for now, so we are all going out for our afternoon walk! 😄)
I went to the gym and got a pretty good lift in, my shoulder was a little sore yet from the injection yesterday, so I did more leg work. Not too bad of a work out!
What AWESOME positive compliment did you give yourself today? Maybe you can use mine:“Failure Will Never Overtake Me If My Determination To Succeed Is Strong Enough.” Feel free to use that every day if you want, just be happy and positive and good to yourself. You Are Awesome!
And remember, to please take care of your heart, you only have the one! And just keep on doing it!
I did a little better on the eating yesterday, not quite so many calories, but I really think it is this damp and dreary weather, I woke up hungry this morning. Anyway, my total caloric intake for yesterday was 1450 calories, and my caloric burn for yesterday was Not bad, and my steps, considering it was rainy all day, not too bad! My heart rate for today so far I want to try to get it a little higher tomorrow. It is good to get your heart rate up there once in awhile.
My macros for yesterday were I know, a little low on the protein, my bad for yesterday. Today probably won’t be a lot better, considering my lunch now is an apple and popcorn. But, it is healthier popcorn. 👍 My nutrients for yesterday were
My sodium for yesterday was high again, but again, this is what the doctor wants. They did do testing on my sodium level yesterday, so we will see when I get those back if all this salt is doing any good.
Ok, on with things. We had gone out for dinner last night, and it did storm pretty good while we were out. We came home to a BIG mess, poor G got in the pantry closet where I had a BIG bag of sand. (I used this sand for planting, and had extra) He tried to make himself a nest in this bag of sand, and needless to say, there was sand EVERYWHERE!!! I could not even be mad about this. The poor dog was so glad to see us, he just about crawled on my lap. Good thing, it forced me to clean out the closet really good, and it needed it. So really, this was a good thing. Bad thing, I put all this sand in a bag and was taking down the hall to put in the trash, and the bag broke, so I had to vacum the hall way too. Oh well, it probably needed that also.
Good News. I told you about the Legendary Foods Peanut Butter that is SO good. They contacted me today and I am now an affiliate and can offer you all a discount. I just don’t have the discount code yet, but as soon as I get this, I will post and I will also post on IG. This really is good peanut butter, and it is a little better for you than most peanut butters. If you are going to eat peanut butter, you might as well eat something that is a little healthier, right! They also have almonds, but I have not tried those yet.
I am going to offer you readers a free sample of this peanut butter again. If you would like to try this, send me an e-mail
And let me know. (I will need your name and complete shipping address) and I will send you a sample. If you want to try the almonds, let me know that as well, and I will also send you a sample of that. I know that once you try this, you will love it.
I was listening to another podcast this morning, I am getting caught up on these again, and they were talking about rest days, and if you need these or not. Do you have an opinion or how do you feel about this? Personally, I feel everyone needs a rest day. But that does not mean sitting in your chair and laying on the couch all day. For me, Saturdays and Sundays are my “rest days”, unless the hubs is traveling. But for me, a normal rest day means a GOOD walk in the morning, perhaps a short afternoon walk, and errands. Whether the errands are grocery shopping, or going to the mall, or doing house work, I normally do not just sit around. Now, there are days, especially if the weather is bad, or it has been a really HARD week, that I will watch TV, maybe a movie, maybe just go sit in the hot tub, and sometimes, on rare occasion, take a nap! (That is usually if I am having a “bad” day, meaning my RA is being a bitch that day and I just can’t do anything any more. (Knock on wood, that has not happened for a long time) But, on the other hand, it is hard for me to be “lazy” just not my nature. How about you? Do you have rest days? And if yes, what do you do on a normal rest day?
Well kangaroos! I need to get back at it. Need to get other things done. (I am actually contemplating making some gluten free banana bread this afternoon, if I have everything I need.) That sounds good right now. And for dinner, I am making Cod and Squash, sounds GREAT! Doesn’t it? What are you having for dinner, let me know, I might get some inspiration from you.
But, for now, back to it. So
Stay Hydrated! Take a big drink of whatever your beverage of choice is!
Be active! I amSTILL doing my 55 Jumping Jacks and 55 Squats every day, are you?
And Be Happy, you will feel so much better.
And don’t forget to leave me a message below, and send me an e-mail if you want to try the Legendary Foods Peanut Butter or Almonds. And come back tomorrow for more. Until then
