Waiting for Spring to get here

Well here you are again all you little love bugs.  Friday Finally!  And I am having the hardest time staying motivated today.  I think it is just TOO many days of rain and clouds and drab weather.  I feel good, I just can’t get going on anything and I have a lot do to yet today.  Oh well, quit whining, right?  And get on with it!

I really am grateful for the health I have, and I do love life,  we all should.  If you do not, you really need to reevaluate your life and what you are doing with your life.  What was your positive compliment for the day?

We did get lucky again this morning.  We got our walk in and coffee!  YAY!!!  It was actually almost warm, I was a little overdressed, but at least it was dry and not cold and windy.  I am happy for that!  When I got got the gym, I had an entire workout planned, but just did not feel like that, so I improvised but did end up getting just an ok lift in.  You can see by my max heart rate, I just wasn’t into it today.Image-d

This was my max heart rate for today, so far.  I do not think we are going to get our afternoon walk in today, it has started to rain again and is windy.  😒

My total caloric burn for yesterday was 1274, a little better.  I did do really good on my evening snacking,  (I am such a creature of habit, I feel like EVERY night, about 8, I need my evening snack.)  I have cut it back to just an apple with a little nut butter, but I still WANT that evening snack!!  My total caloric burn yesterday was Image-e

I did talk with one of my doctors today, and they felt maybe my diet was too high in fat and too low in carbs, I don’t think so, but!!!!  My nutrients for yesterday were

I did have my sodium tested again on Wednesday, so it will be interesting to see if my sodium levels have come up at all.  I should have these results back by Monday.

OK, in reviewing everything, and talking with my MANY doctors, (God, I am really starting to sound like either a really old person or a real sickie, and I am NOT either)  but I have come to the conclusion I do need to stay away from any gluten foods, and really watch the fat I eat, and the produce I eat.  Obviously, I still have another doctor to see about all this, but that will be a topic of conversation.

Anyone have plans for the weekend?  We don’t have any yet, and if the weather is like it is now, I am not sure what we will do.  I think maybe we will need to go to one of the malls just to get out and about, and also get some extra walking in.  And who knows what we might find, might be something there we really need!!!

I do plan on making something over the weekend, or even this afternoon yet.  I was thinking yesterday about making some gluten free banana bread, but did not have everything I need to make it.  I did some looking last night for easy “healthy” snacks to make and I found a recipe for Three Ingredient Keto Brownies, that I think that I will try to make this weekend.  I will be sure to take pictures, and if they are good, I will share this recipe.  My problem is that I can never just follow a recipe, I always think, if I just add a little of this, it will still be good.  Maybe I just need to follow this recipe this time, right?

Speaking of, for dinner last night I made baked cod and mexican squash, and of course, the squash was in the air fryer, and this was great.  The hubs even commented a couple of times how good it was.  The only thing, the squash could have had just a little more flavor to it.  I thought that I seasoned it good, but apparently not.  But, there were no leftovers so it must not have been too bad!

Ok kids, need to get back to it.  I have done enough googling and researching for the day, and now it is getting late, or late to get much else done, so need to get on with it.
