Such a Tragic Loss
Well, I am here, a little later than I planned on, but this has been a very busy but productive day, so far.
First, I want to say how sorry I am for the TERRIBLE loss of the beautiful Norte Dame Cathedral. I cannot believe that more people are not posting about this on SM. I am so thankful that I was able to visit this several years back. This is a huge and tragic loss. It was such an amazing cathedral. No matter your race, color or religion, we should all say a prayer for the parishioners of this cathedral.
It is such a beautiful day out today. The sky is that color of blue that only happens on a few spring days. The temperature is good, there is a slight breeze, and the pollen is not near so bad as it was. What a Day! Get out and enjoy if you can.
I also need to Thank All of you that did purchase some Beauty Counter products from me. Please let me know how you like these products. I do have a FEW samples of the sunscreen left, if you would like some, send me an e-mail
and I will send you a sample. I know you will love this and it is SO important for EVERYONE to wear sunscreen.
I am very proud to say, after 5 days of “saying as I do and do as I say”, I am still doing this. I do hope to make this a habit. (The hubs as come up with his own version of this, “Be a booker, not a looker”, he wanted to do something, so he booked the tickets and quit looking, really not like him either) So I am also implementing the Be a booker, not a looker, to my daily mantra. I used this method to make the decision for our Easter Lunch! It is amazing how much more you can get done when you just do it! I am even keeping our home much more manageable using this theory! Let’s see if I can keep this up.
How is everyone feeling and doing today? I am really quite well. I did start my day out today with just a BIT more coffee, and I am getting a lot done. I am not complaining, but recently, I tire very quickly. Now, I can think of several reasons why this might be. The first, and this might be the reason, while the hubs was traveling last week, I kind of went none stop and also did not sleep that good. But now that he is back, I am sleeping better, longer and more solid, but still tire easily. I have narrowed it down to one of two things. It may still be from having my gall bladder removed. They did tell me that I could tire very easily for several months, it just takes the body time to heal. OR, my second idea, I have not been drinking enough water, (maybe because I am drinking more coffee). Historically, if I do not drink enough water, I tend to tire quicker. So, as of yesterday, I am forcing myself to drink a little more water, ( I have started to track all of my food and water intake again) and I will see if that helps. I am also tracking everything, as I want to make sure I do not eat TOO much fat!!! Not good for me!
Yesterday was my fist day back to LIGHT lifting, and I thought I might be a little sore or stiff today, but not so much. I actually feel pretty good today. I lifted a little again today, and each day, will slowly add a bit more and increase the weight. Hopefully, all will go good.
I neglected to take pictures, but we had the BEST dinner last night. On Sunday, the hubs put together his version of meatloaf. This was a mix of ground pork, ground beef, and ground lamb. He had me mix this with onion, garlic, and several secret spices he did not reveal to me, and some mushrooms. I let this set overnight and then baked in a slow oven yesterday. WOW, this was fantastic! Just enough left for maybe one meal.
I know this post a little shorter then I would like it to be, but I MUST move on to the next item only list. I know I will have more time to post more tomorrow, so be sure to come back tomorrow and see whats up!
In the meantime, please be sure to leave a comment below, and PLEASE, check out all of the companies that I work with and make a purchase, help support this blog soon to be podcast. And, if you do want a Beauty Counter sunscreen sample, just let me know.
Until tomorrow, be healthy, be happy and be good!
xoxo
