Can you guess what this is?
Hey their doodle bugs. Are you having a good day? Are you being positive and doing as you say, and saying as you do?
I was getting a little lax in that area, so I have to remind myself today, Do as you say, and say as you do! And do it NOW! I am the worlds best procrastinator.
So, let’s get on with it. I slept much better last night, so I am feeling really good today.
We started our day off with all of us walking and having coffee. G and I jogged a little and walked a little on this walk. Then, just like yesterday, once I got in, I took G home and then went back out for my jog. I did do a little better today, then yesterday, which was exactly what I wanted. I jogged 1.38 miles at an average pace of 14.14 minute mile. Tomorrow will be day 3, can I do a little better yet?
I did start today off again with my green smoothie. I think that I will like doing this, other then they are not that filling. I think I need to find a way to make them more filling. But you can get a lot of really good things into this smoothie!
My total caloric intake for yesterday wan 1523 calories, and my total caloric burn was
1906 calories. I walked/jogged a little over 18850 steps, I am trying to hit 20,000 steps in a day!
My macros for yesterday were
A little high on the fat, but I added a lot of GOOD fats to my smoothie yesterday. The Coconut oil, avocado, nut better, but all good fat so I am not REAL concerned. I did do better on the carbs and protein.
My nutrient breakdown was
I also added the coconut water yesterday, so my potassium was better yesterday as well. Woo Hoo! If I do, (no Tamie, WHEN you do this for 39 days, just like the one mile run per day) I might actually have this all figured out! And you ask, how are you feeling, well two things, since I slept like a ROCK STAR last night, and since I am jogging a little, (ok, 3 things) and since I am eating better, I feel AWESOME today, other then I can’t get squat done today because of banking issues, it is a GREAT day! Maybe this is what feeling good is really like! WOW, I will take this every day.
I really want to find a way to track things like Vitamin B, Vitamin D, magnesium, do you know how I can do this?
Ok, I don’t have a picture but I got some Brazil Nut Butter yesterday and tried this. I was told that if you cycle out your nuts and nut butters, you get a better mix of good fats. I had never even heard of this, but this is GREAT! Have you ever tried this? I will try to take a picture of this and put on my blog tomorrow.
I have mentioned numerous times that I work with the Chinese. They just got back from their Labor Day Holiday, and some of my colleagues have shared some pictures, which they said I could share. These are just adorable.
They had gone to a “park” with her parents. Her little girl is adorable, she is 5 years old. I envy the divers, this looks so very relaxing! I love little Doudou’s pocket book!
Sorry kids, I did not realize it is 3 PM already, and I just finally got the online banking fixed, so now I really need to get to work.
Tomorrow, I am going to post a picture of all of the “snacks” I have packed for our trip to SD, along with a picture of the Brazil Nut Butter.
I mentioned this on Monday, but because of our travels, I will not be able to continue the run one mile for 39 days challenge until next Monday, but I am counting these two days and tomorrow. Along with the run 1 mile, I am adding my own, Have a green smoothie for breakfast for 39 days challenge, and at the end of this, I can report back to you all how GREAT I am feeling, hopefully. (OK, I am being really positive and saying, How GREAT I AM feeling) Who wants to join me in this, OD? Are you up for this? If you do want to get in on this challenge, send me an e-mail
and we can compare each day, the mileage and time, come on people, jump on the band wagon.
Ok, got to go, got to get some work done yet today. So, remember to leave me a comments below, and until tomorrow,
and Root to Rise!
until tomorrow xoxo
